A wheelchair-accessible system for Daimler-Chrysler, Ford, and General Motors minivans. This rear-entry ramp system utilizes an innovative hydraulics system which lowers the van and the ramp unfolds in a matter of seconds. Manufactured by Viewpoint Mobility and designed by Tony Colenbrander, P.Eng., Ph.D. Since each system is custom fit into a vehicle, ramps often vary in dimensions. Bluming Inc. created a 3D solid model which allows easy modifications, and once a parameter is changed for one part, the others update accordingly.
